Neat-o!

This was new and wonderful to me: A tractor-trailer showed up at a neighbor's house with a load of roofing shingles. (Note to self: Is there some other type of shingles?) There was no forklift to take the pallets off the bed of the truck, and the truck didn't have a grapple built-on to do the job, and there wasn't one of those mobile conveyor-belt trailers carry the shingles up to the roof. That stuff is heavy! So unloading by hand seemed unlikely.

The the driver unhooked the tractor part from the trailer, then drove around behind the trailer, and backed up to the rear of the trailer. Besides the actual hitch that the trailer attaches to there were some arms folded up back there behind the cab. The arms unfolded hydraulically and suddenly the truck-tractor was a gigantic forklift facing to the rear of the truck. The driver picked up the first pallet with the fork, then backed next to the house, then extended the pallet up to the roof and laid it down. Then it went back for the next pallet.

Who woulda thunk it?

Great cat art from art_cats

Nope, I don't know what the text is saying, but the artworks are great! Open the cut for plenty!
